This measure reflects the percentage geologic maps completed in targeted areas by the Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy's Division of Geology and Mineral Resources.  Current targeted areas include the I-81 corridor and the Richmond Metropolitan Statistical Area.  Once these areas are completed, new areas will be targeted as long as funding is available.
