Data Source and Calculation Data source is the Online Automated Services Information System (OASIS). The result is based on a periodic review of cohort cases of children who were maltreated. Each child victim is followed for six months from the first report date to determine if another substantiated or indicated maltreatment report was received. This number is divided by the total number of children with initial substantiated reports of maltreatment.
