Cost Code are elements of Virginia's chart of accounts and are managed by the Department of Accounts. DPB does not use Cost Codes in the development of the Commonwealth's budget, but agencies may optionally use Cost Codes when they enter their budget data in the PB system. Some agencies find this useful since they do use Cost Codes with the state's accounting system when expending money. The same Cost Code may mean different things to different agencies. Therefore, an Agency Code and Cost Code together are required to uniquely identify a Cost Code

Try typing in a short string like "health" in the agency name filter and resubmitting the report. You will get any agency that has that string anywhere in the title.
