The Department of Education (agency 197) requests the transfer of appropriation to Virginia Institutions of Higher Education and Higher Education Centers. The appropriation transfer corresponds to the recipients and grant award amounts for the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act (Governor’s Emergency Education Relief) GEER Fund that are specified in a Memorandum issued to Virginia Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) and Higher Education Centers on October 15, 2020. This memorandum has been attached for reference.
